David Ramirez

David Ramirez is a Senior Associate of the firm who provides federal legislative experience and grassroots strategy to our corporate and non-profit clients.

"...David fostered key professional relationships with congressional and committee staff across the political and ideological spectrum."

With a portfolio consisting of Fortune 200 corporations, national advocacy organizations and premier trade associations, David creates and maintains strategic alliances and third party partnerships for the successful advocacy of our clients' policy positions. He specializes in telecommunications counsel and coalition building in the Hispanic community with elected officials and non-profit organizations.

As Senior Associate for Client Services, David manages and tracks all client activity, providing strategic advice and guidance to the Principal and consulting services to the client roster.

Prior to joining Mickey Ibarra & Associates, David served as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Joe Baca. In that capacity, David managed telecommunications, health care, international affairs, veterans, and child safety issues for the Congressman. He also served as Congressman Baca's liaison to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) and lead staffer for the CHC's Corporate America Task Force.

Along with these legislative responsibilities and supervisory roles, David fostered key professional relationships with congressional and committee staff across the political and ideological spectrum. These associations continue as he seeks to build across the political divide to promote social and political progress.

As a native of Maryland, David's initial work experience involved helping low-income families find homes and procure affordable loans in the Baltimore metropolitan area. David then joined the staff of Terris, Pravlik & Millian (TPM), an environmental and civil rights law firm. At TPM, he worked on water pollution and civil rights cases, providing legal advice and guidance to the firm's clients.

David is currently a candidate for his Juris Doctor degree at George Mason School of Law.
